Veuve Montigny Rose Champagne Brut NV

I’m thinking pink for this weekend to kick off Sunday lunch, quite one of my favourites times of the Bank Holiday weekend, always. Came across this one at a recent Aldi press tasting and it stood out for all the right reasons, not least for its brilliant value. It’s fresh and crisp, with gentle strawberry fruit flavours and that all-important touch of digestive biscuit. Not available in all their stores but you can now order it by the case for delivery if you live close enough to one.
