Tim Adams Semillon

This is a wine that just gets better with age. Like all of us *group hug*. Anyway, the Semillon grape does have a habit of changing depending on where it’s grown and here, in South Australia’s Clare Valley, it takes on a gorgeous tropical fruit character. Think limes, apricots and grassy, lemony loveliness. Meatier than a Sauvignon, less so than an oaky Chardonnay. It’ll keep for another ten years but my bottle didn’t last more than two days. Just right with roast chicken (including leftovers).
