Gorgeous example of how well Pinot Noir can travel given the right conditions. Its spiritual homeland might be Burgundy but this one’s from the other side of the world. The cool climate of the Yarra Valley in South Australia suits it down to the ground, bringing out all the lovely raspberry and cherry fruit Pinot Noir’s capable of when conditions are right. Not cheap but currently on offer so well worth a try if you want to see what all the fuss is about. Try it with roast chicken or simply done lamb chops.
