Ridiculously perky red from Italy’s Piedmont region, this is the brilliant Barbera grape in all its black cherry-bomb glory. Normally a pound more expensive, it’s worth trying if you like your reds with lots of flavour and a bit of bite. Gorgeous with (really) slow roast pork.
