Last Sunday, I cooked a shoulder of lamb for lunch. It was a Nigella recipe and she told me to add a generous amount of rose to the roasting pan. It was delicious. The wine I mean, not the lamb (although that wasn’t half bad if I may say so myself). Fresh and bright with gorgeous redcurrant fruits, this is a lovely way to enjoy Rioja even when you’re not in the mood for a glass of red.
