Okay, so here’s what you really need to know about this wine. It’s made from the Montepulciano grape and comes from Abruzzo, the calf of Italy. It’s typically smooth and juicy and stuffed with black fruit flavours with a kick of spice to boot. The kind of wine you want an enormous glass of if there’s a bowl of tomato-y/meaty pasta or a burrito fit to burst in front of you. And because it’s organic, it’s practically a health drink. Also: properly good value. Want.
