This comes from the relatively cool (compared with most other Australian wine producing areas, anyway) region of Frankland River in Western Australia. So you get all the typically blackcurrant-like fruit you want from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape but in a nicely understated way. There’s a small kick of spice too. Lovely wine for the price. And it’s crying out for a casserole.
