I know I go on about how brilliantly drinkable simple Italian whites can be, but this wine shows Spain can do that too. Made from the widely planted Airen grape, done simply it can be crisp and fresh. But when the grapes come from old bush vines planted at vineyards at altitude, like the ones used to make this wine, it gets decidedly more interesting. Peachy and bright, it’s a real fridge door banker. Great label too.
