Martisor Pinot Grigio

This is one of those wines that doesn’t require much thought. Or food. Rather, it’s the wine equivalent of chilled background noise. Light, fresh and lemony with a bit of a floral twist to it, it’s a fridge door banker. The name Martisor refers to an ancient Romanian tradition celebrating the beginning of Spring. I’ll drink to that.
