One of the smartest own label champagnes on the shelves at the moment – and definitely one of the best value. This stood out in a recent tasting (the one I did on the telly with Phil & Holly. Just in case, you know, I hadn’t mentioned it). Anyway, it’s a toasty little thing with lovely citrus fruit and plenty of oomph. If you see it on the shelf, snaffle it.

This is the worst champagne i have ever tasted, its almost like a sweet cider, i could actually taste apples instead of grapes..how could this be? DO NOT BUY
Oh dear, really sorry to hear you didn’t like it Angela. This is quite an old review so the wine won’t be the same as the one reviewed. But this one is normally good in my experience. Sounds like it might have been oxidised….perhaps take it back to the store where you bought it and ask for another or a refund?
