I took this wine with me to a tasting I did at the Ideal Home Show a couple of weeks ago and it went down a storm. Made by a great producer called Huia, it’s quite full on: a blend of the lychee-like Gewürztraminer, with some dangerously drinkable Pinot Gris and a dash of racy Riesling to top it off. Unashamedly aromatic and floral, with a bit of spice to it too. Brilliant with anything chilli-flecked, like salmon or roasted squash.
