I picked this up last week whilst racing round Waitrose and it was definitely the label that made me do so. Happily, what’s inside is dreamy at the price (it’s normally £9.79). Namely, juicy, bright Pinot Noir from Australia’s Yarra Valley. It’s medium bodied, with softish tannins (the grippy coat-the-teeth stuff) and plenty of flavour. Retire with a glass of this in hand to the sofa and all will be well.
