A gorgeous, crisp Godello (that’s the name of the grape) from Valdeorras (meaning Valley of Gold) in Galicia, up in the northwest corner of Spain. The steep terraced vineyards mean there’s altitude, giving the wine extra freshness and zing balanced with flavours of ripe white fruit and a mineral touch. Put this with roast chicken and you’re done.
