Adega de Pegoes Colheita 2014

Lovely, peachy white from a region just below Lisbon in Portugal. It’s made from a mash up of Verdelho, Chardonnay and two other local grapes, then aged for a bit in oak. That gives it weight and spice, which makes the whole thing feel more robust. In other words, more September-y. You have to be a member of the Wine Society to order it, but a one-off membership fee of £40 makes it worthwhile (and a great present).
