Made from a blend of Melon de Bourgogne (the grape behind Muscadet) and Chardonnay, this perky Loire white is delightfully light on its feet (it’s a friendly 12% abv). I love Loire whites, not least because they’re usually really good value. This isn’t exactly cheap but you’d probably pay a lot more for it if the Chardonnay grapes came from Burgundy. Mostly citrusy with a touch of mango, it’s as happy with a bowl of crisps as it is with roast chicken.
