Baron de Ley Varietales

A gorgeous white Rioja made from the Garnacha Blanca grape. Normally this grape doesn’t get to take centre stage but here it is, in the spotlight, looking very good indeed. With glossy citrus flavours and a hint of spice from some ageing in oak barrels, it makes a refreshing change to drink white rather than red Rioja. And its weightiness makes it a properly good match for roast chicken.
