Basically, this is pink prosecco – it’s made in the same way, from the same grape and from the same region – but Italian law hasn’t allowed pink prosecco to be a thing so you won’t find the p-word on the label. Actually, this is set to change so expect lots more appearing on the shelves in time but for now, this’ll do nicely. There’s a dash of the red Nerello Mascalese in the blend (hence the colour) and an added dollop of strawberry fruit on top of the citrus flavours. Dangerously drinkable – and currently on offer (normally £10.49). Just add crisps.
