Cava is often written off as the cheap alternative to champagne/more serious alternative to prosecco but there’s more to it than that. Made in Spain in the same way that Champagne’s made (meaning it’s bottle fermented), this one’s ripe and fruity but with that same toasty champagne character. Made from a blend of classic Cava grapes including mostly Parellada, with some Xarel-lo and Macabeo, it’s a great way to add sparkle without spending a fortune. Salty snacks a must.

Just bought a bottle of this after hearing good things about it.
