The Society’s Gruner Veltliner

You have to be a member of The Wine Society to buy wine from them but life membership is just £40 so it’s pretty much the safest wine investment you can make nowadays. This is a gorgeous spicy white from Austria, with lots of white peach flavours. Fresh, crisp and with more flesh on its bones than most whites. Worked a treat with my (mild) chicken curry.
