There’s something refreshing about a good Italian white like this one. I’m not just talking about the taste, but that it’s made from a grape you don’t often find elsewhere (in this case the Marche region, roughly the calf of the boot). Grown on the hillsides around the town of Jesi, the style is nicely distinctive: lightly floral, with fresh pear and white peach fruit flavours. Great light food wine, or on its own whilst munching on breadsticks.
