Casillero del Diablo Chardonnay 2014

This is an old favourite, one that I don’t drink that often but when I do, am always glad we opened it. It’s properly ripe and round, with peach and citrus fruit flavours. Basically, a really sunny wine with a bit more weight to it than the lean whites of summer that just don’t feel right at the moment. Definitely took the edge off Mariah on a loop. Amazing value at this price.
