The last time we went camping as a family we had a seven month old baby and a three year old in tow. Oh, and a puppy. And I was pregnant. And it was blowing a gale. And of course we were on a slope. But we went again last weekend and this time it was different. For a start, we had glorious weather. The box of rose was cold and the duvet was warm. Happy camping, indeed.

In other news, I’m thrilled to tell you that our first KMWC wine case did so well, we’re going to do another one. It’ll be ready in October and will have a rather more Autumnal feel. If you haven’t yet tried the first case, you’ve still got time to ship one in: 12 wines, usually £120, but available just for us for £79. Click here for full details. Thank you so, so much to everyone who’s bought a case –  here’s to the next one!

  1. I take more bedding than I take clothes. My camping bed must look like something out of princess and the pea otherwise I’m a very grumpy camper! Elinor X

It really is the secret, isn’t it? Took me a while to work that one out. Oh, and v. imp the wine is cold. I put the box in the freezer before we left. Stayed cold for days in the cooler! x
