This week, I’ve been mostly fuelled by tea and chocolate brownies. One day I will have a tin of ready-made healthy snacks to tuck into. That, and a pre-made tiffin box of quinoa salad on hand for lunch on-the-go. Just not this week. But today, with deadlines met, I dropped in to see my mum and her new friend. She’s called Philomena and she’s an absolutely beautiful Irish Terrier. We watched her trot around her new home and tentatively investigate the garden. For hours. She’s really friendly, quite nosey and loves a nap. I’m not sure I’d agree in this case that a dog looks like its owner but it seems they were made for each other.

Wonderful!!!! My husband was skeptical but this changed his mind. We had to use a little gas grill so we wanted something that cooked quickly. This worked great! I didn’t have time to make pico de gallo so I drained some Rotel with the same ingredients (lime, cilantro, etc) and used it. Worked great! Thank you so much for sharing this! Shelter dogs are wonderful. and yes you certainly can get a purebred if thats what you have your mind st on as some who have bought a purebred and found they werent fitting onto their lifestyle . I have known a number of people who have ‘bought ‘ (it makes me shudder) a Frenchie and they find out the breed is prey driven or perhaps is very high strung.
